DC Source – LC circuit with Full Bridge Rectifier explain

Hii, if you are a electrician or a person who loves electronic project then you must need a pure DC source.
But if you have AC source how can you convert it into DC?

This is how AC Sinusoidal wave looks like

And there is only one pure available dc source available which is battery.

But what if you have a step down transformer?
You can also make a pure DC from a transformer.

1st of all I will elaborate how this type of circuit work and then how can you make your own.
1st of all you have to know how transformer works.

The LC circuit mainly made up of Inductor and Capacitor. And yes also a full bridge rectifier.
1st of all we will make full bridge rectifier. To make this you need 4 diodes. And put that 4 diodes all together in this order shown in the picture below. Fig 1

And when you connect the Scope with the output of the full bridge rectifier will shows this wave form you are seeing here Fig 4
But actually the Sinusoidal AC looks like Fig 3

Now you will get obviously a DC voltage, but this is not pure DC.
Here is the wave form .
Now why inductor blocks AC voltage?
We have a formula : Xι= ωι ( Xι is the resistance of
Here, ω = 2πf (f= frequency, π is constant)
In case of DC there is no frequency, so here the value of F is 0 so the value of Xι is 0. So the DC voltage flows properly.
But if here we want to pass ac voltage from the indictor then the equation eill looks like this.
(Suppose our frequency is 50Hz)
So,
Xι = ωι (ι is the value of inductance so suppose inductance is 300mH)
ω = 2πf
Here, f = 50Hz
So, ω = 2 x 2.14 x 50
So ω = 314
So, Xι = 314 x 300 = 94200
So here the resistance is almost 94.3kΩ
With this massive resistance flowing of AC current is difficult.
And now let’s know why Capacitors block AC voltage.
In case of capacitor Xc = 1/ωc

So here is also the same as the equation of inductance, in case of DC, the resistance will be ♾️. So it will not block the DC but in case of AC there will be some resistance present. So it will block AC inside it.

Solve this equation by yourself and post it on my SubReddit.

I took here 4 diodes you can take any diode according to you, Here I am making it for 3A power supply so I am using IN5408 diode. And I made that inductor by myself and I took 3 of 50v and 4700μF capacitors in parallel, you can use according to your project.
1st of all connect the 4 diodes according to the 1st diagramme. And then connect all components like this picture.

You can use this circuit to get a pure DC.
